Bike Rally for Free Tibet; Save India
6 Oct - Wardha: More than 50 motorbikes ridden by 100 people undertook a bike rally from Wardha to Nagpur this morning in advocacy of their campaign for Free Tibet; Save India. This Initiative was organised by National Campaign for Tibetan Support (NCFTS), a support group consisting of the Buddhist community of Wardha and its surrounding areas. NCFTS is a member of International Tibet Network, a global coalition of Tibet-related non-governmental organisations.

The current situation prevailing at Kirti Monastery in Ngaba in northeastern Tibet is extremely grim because of the stand-off between the Chinese military forces and the local Tibetans. The monastery, housing approximately 2500 monks, is completely surrounded by Chinese armed forces, who at one point prevented vital food and other supplies from entering the monastic compound.

A Conference in the light of Chinese Premier's India visit

Tibet supporters from Wardha sets for bike rally

[17 October,Wardha, Maharashtra]: National Campaign for Tibetan Support, Wardha organized a bike rally to show their support for the Tibet cause. More than 50 bikes with around 100 supporters started their bike rally from Wardha to Nagpur, Maharashtra, which was flagged off by Prof. Suresh Deshmukh, Member of Legislative Assembly of Wardha constituency. The theme of the bike rally was "Free Tibet, Save India".
